Senior Account Executive

We are looking for a senior account executive to join our Richmond, Va. office with five-to-seven years of agency or related marketing communications experience. Someone who has the ability to multitask and manage account assignments and budgets while maintaining communications between clients, vendors and teams.


  • Knowing more about assigned clients and projects than anyone else in the agency. 
  • Managing research, advertising, public relations, social media and digital strategies for cohesive marketing communications efforts and multiple accounts.
  • Developing solid digital content and engagement strategies to meet client goals. 
  • Ensuring campaign needs and client deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining client relationships. Leading and presenting campaign strategies, budgets, work and updates to agency team and clients.
  • Managing daily communications with internal teams, clients, partners and vendors providing up-to-the-minute status reports as needed.
  • Utilizing and maintaining social media management and agency project management software.
  • Leading agency sales efforts and teams and providing management support as needed.


  • At least five to seven years of agency or related marketing communications experience.
  • Ability to develop digital and marketing communications strategies based on research and analytics.
  • Experience managing multiple integrated marketing communications campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
  • Proven written communications and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of, experience with and insight into digital communications strategies.
  • Experience in energy, transportation, government and/or insurance a plus.


A bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, public relations, journalism or a related field is preferred.
