Account Executive - Richmond, Va.

Could “Strategic” be your middle name? In addition to a thinker, are you a doer? Are you experienced in digital marketing and social media management, but also have an understanding of how to work with more traditional media and communications tactics? Do you have strong presentation and content development skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a “roll up your sleeves, let’s get this done team!” attitude?

If you have five years of relevant project management experience, a solid understanding of digital communications and social media, a reputation for results, and the ability to multitask and manage client and account assignments, we want to talk with you!

Responsibilities:

  • Bring it all together by managing strategy, digital, media and creative needs for our awesome client partners. Our industry focuses include education, energy, insurance, transportation, tourism and more.
  • Be bold when creating, coordinating and presenting campaign strategies, updates and results to teams and clients.
  • Develop solid digital and social content and engagement strategies to meet client goals. Partner with our digital and media teams to manage, track and ensure campaign performance.
  • Be smart and thoughtful with clients’ budgets by tracking all project activities.
  • Utilize agency and client website content management systems; social monitoring, engagement and posting platforms; and project management software.
  • Be ready to grow, assist with and manage sales efforts as needed.
  • Be good to your team.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of agency or related marketing communications experience.
  • Ability to develop marketing communications strategies based on experience, research and analytics.
  • Experience managing multiple integrated marketing communications campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and proven written communications and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of, experience with and insight into digital communications and media and content strategies.
  • Experience in education, energy, insurance, transportation and/or tourism is a plus.

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, public relations, journalism, communications or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications are a bonus.
